Job summary

A leading aviation firm in Durban is seeking a knowledgeable Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) to oversee aircraft maintenance programs. The role demands strong management skills and extensive aviation experience, including licensing as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and familiarity with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include developing maintenance programs, managing airworthiness records, and ensuring compliance with aviation laws. The position offers an opportunity to enforce quality and safety protocols while working closely with contractors.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years aviation technical experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an aviation executive role.
  • Solid understanding of aviation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop maintenance programmes for aircraft.
  • Ensure approvals for modifications and repairs are in place.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and manage records.
