Job summary
A reputable university in South Africa is looking for an experienced construction project manager to join its team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or quantity surveying, as well as at least three years of experience in infrastructure development projects. Responsibilities include attending project briefs, assisting with specifications, and ensuring client satisfaction. A competitive salary of R 55000 - R 60000 is offered.
Qualifications
- Registered with SACPCMP as a professional construction project manager or construction manager.
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in infrastructure development-related projects.
- Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Attend client’s project briefs and assist with preparation of project specifications.
- Assist with preparation of Feasibility Studies and Technical Reports.
- Liaise with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and advise contractors and on-site personnel.
