Job Scope
Manage steel construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate project delivery
Conduct site inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety protocols
Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to drive project success
Analyse project data and provide recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices in steel construction
Requirements
3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer/Asst Manager in Civil Structural Steel Project.
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex steel construction projects.
Strong technical expertise in areas such as structural analysis, steel detailing, and construction methodologies
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and implement detailed project plans
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and team members
Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, and project management tools is an advantage
