Home-Based Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists for Teenager with Autism

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced home-based therapist to support our 14-year-old teenager with autism, who has minimal verbal communication skills. This unique position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized therapeutic support tailored to the needs of the teenager.
• Implement behavior management strategies to enhance communication and social skills.
• Facilitate engaging activities to promote learning and development.
• Collaborate with family members to create and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum, particularly adolescents.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and/or speech therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, understanding demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a family-centered team
