[SG] Corporate Development (M&A)

About the team

Our Corporate Development team drives public and private capital market transactions and inorganic growth initiatives for the group, in addition to being the Financial Planning and Analysis business partner for the various business units across Southeast Asia.

About the role

The Corporate Development team at Doctor Anywhere oversees conventional corporate development functions (e.g., private and public capital markets transactions, M&A and investor relations) as well as FP&A. We are looking for a Corporate Development (M&A), whose main focus (>80%) will be M&A transaction execution, with an ancillary needs-based exposure to other corporate development functions. This role will work closely with senior management to drive the inorganic and strategic initiatives across the entire group.

This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Corporate Development based in Singapore.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Support end-to-end M&A process execution including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration
• Own fundamental investment analysis workstreams
  • Build and maintain complex financial models for valuations, LBO/M&A analysis
  • Perform detailed company and industry analysis
  • Create investment committee/ board presentations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors (investment banks, lawyers, accountants)
• Project manage multiple workstreams and deal timelines
• Support development of corporate strategy and M&A roadmap, including helping to screen potential acquisition targets

About you

• 3-6 years of work experience in sell-side or buy-side roles (investment banking/ M&A advisory, PE, in-house corporate development)
• Ample dose of common sense
• Strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint are a must)
• Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized
• Familiarity with Healthcare would be beneficial but not mandatory
• Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
