Job summary
A civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Resident Engineer to supervise civil and structural works. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board and be accredited as a Resident Engineer. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include overseeing compliance with project specifications, managing RTO teams, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. This position is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of construction projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB, Singapore.
- Accredited as a Resident Engineer (RE) with IES.
- Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, especially in supervision.
Responsibilities
- Ensure contractors maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
- Supervise civil and structural works to comply with project requirements.
- Lead the team of Resident Technical Officers (RTOs).
- Conduct inspections on materials and workmanship delivered to site.
- Attend and participate in all project meetings.
