What will you do as a Maintenance Technician (E&I)?

As a Maintenance Technician (E&I), you will be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. You will ensure that installations, whether offshore, vessel, or onshore production terminals, are maintained and performed at optimum functionality.

What do we expect from you as a Maintenance Technician (E&I)?

1. 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in a similar industry
2. ITE or Diploma equivalent in maintenance
3. Familiarity with and experience in maintenance and inspection work
4. Familiarity with and experience in terminal equipment and assets
5. Technically sound
6. Knowledge of safety, health, and environment regulatory practices
7. Compliance with regulatory requirements
8. Teamwork
9. Mentoring experience is an advantage

Your core responsibilities are:

1. Execute tasks and standard maintenance and repair work such as Preventive and Corrective maintenance project executions at site effectively and efficiently
2. Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with maintenance work procedures and Vopak standards to ensure site quality, asset integrity, and operability
3. Report any problems or issues with site facilities
4. Process Permit-to-Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Lock-out, Tag-out (LOTO) during maintenance activities
5. Participate in maintenance documentation review such as Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
6. Maintain work progress status and report to Supervisors
7. Perform Work Executor in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflow
8. Support Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring contractors execute maintenance tasks effectively
9. Mentor and guide technicians in maintenance activities
10. Perform equipment or system testing, commissioning, inspections, and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR)
11. Standby as duty technician for emergency activation
12. Suggest and execute ideas for continuous improvement in maintenance procedures
13. Assist in equipment training to the Operations department or new trainees
14. Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory levels
