FARMAMONDO AND JOB PURPOSE
FarmaMondo is a fast-growing, Swiss-based pharmaceutical group focused on providing market access services and full commercialization for specialty medicines through a unique geographical footprint. Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals and patients with access to both licensed and unlicensed medicines in emerging markets.
To reinforce our strategic presence in Singapore, FarmaMondo is looking for a Warehouse Manager.
The Warehouse Manager Singapore will oversee the daily operations of packaging, transporting, and storing goods within the warehouse. This includes ensuring all incoming and outgoing goods are properly managed, maintaining the integrity of inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, particularly for pharmaceutical and sensitive products. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with internal teams, including the QA department, and external partners such as couriers, to ensure timely and accurate product movement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Organize and Supervise Warehouse Activities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the warehouse, focusing on packaging, transporting, and storing goods efficiently and safely.
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and according to safety guidelines.
- Manage Incoming Goods:
- Oversee the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring proper documentation is received and reviewed.
- Control and verify the suitability of trucks for unloading, including checking internal truck temperature prior to offloading.
- Ensure proper storage and packaging of goods upon receipt, maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to deliver documents received with goods for the second check.
- Manage Outgoing Goods:
- Supervise the process of counting, packaging, and preparing goods for shipment.
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of goods via couriers, ensuring proper handling and documentation (e.g., signed AWBs).
- Ensure goods are shipped promptly to customers or other stakeholders.
- Shipping & Documentation:
- Ensure that shipments are properly handed over to couriers and follow up on tracking and shipping status.
- Take parcels to the post office for Swiss Post shipments and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Stock Management and Inventory Control:
- Apply the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) method to manage stock by ensuring products with shorter expiry dates are placed at the front and longer expiry dates are stored at the back.
- Continuously monitor and track the inventory levels, ensuring they are aligned with ERP system records.
- Perform quarterly inventory checks, reconciling physical stock with the ERP system data and investigating discrepancies.
- Environmental Monitoring:
- Monitor and maintain the required storage conditions, including temperature and humidity parameters, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of storage areas, especially those used for storing pharmaceutical products, to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of personnel and the integrity of products stored.
- Regularly review and enforce proper procedures for handling, storing, and shipping goods, particularly for sensitive items.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel on safety procedures, product handling, and efficient warehouse operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
- Understanding of safety and compliance regulations in a warehouse setting, particularly for sensitive or regulated products (e.g., pharmaceuticals).
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
- Forklift certification and other warehouse-related training may be preferred.
