Energy System Project Management leads the execution of projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support the organization in process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution. As an Entry Professional (P1), you will apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Typical conditions of the position include closely supervised work, with problems that are not difficult or complex.
- You will define jointly with the Project Control department all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
- You will ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization, as well as project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
- You will identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risk, ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued, capturing, analyzing, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project.
- You will ensure that the project is formally closed out as contractually agreed, driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and its acknowledgment by the customer.
- You will ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claim management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements, coordinating with Supply Chain Management to successfully procure required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
- You will support Supply Chain Management in negotiation, claims, and project changes, acting as a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and effectively communicating with all stakeholders.
- You will ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
