Overview
As a Lead Service Delivery Manager, you will lead a team of different culture direct and indirect staff across different service organizations and service functions to deliver common goals and deliverables. The Service Delivery Manager will act as the single point of contact for our customers.
What will you do?
- Manage and plan for all Hardware and Software End of Support lifecycle support.
- Continuously refine Operation processes and procedures to enable projects to go into managed mode.
- Own and manage Contractual SLA, client requirements, and deliverables - both Internal and external customer engagement.
- Drive Business growth of the account and focus on delivering excellent Customer Engagement experience.
- Make strategic and tactical plans in alignment with delivery to meet the contractual obligations to our clients.
- Lead a team of Engineers - Service and Technical delivery teams in day-to-day operations matters and ensure services are delivered with pride and a sustainable model to meet our SLA deliverables.
- Act as the focal point for Client and Third-party partners management.
- Manage project financials and drive margin improvement.
- Provide management and operations reports.
- Provide coaching and organize the teamwork.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in IT or relevant discipline with at least 10 years of IT Managed Services Service Delivery experience and 5 years as a people manager.
- Familiarity with Government environment – such as IM8 compliance, ITIL Certification, CITPM, or PMP.
- Demonstrated technical competency, able to articulate incidents/issues at least in Network or System domains.
- Demonstrated good working knowledge and preferably proficiency and experience managing at least a few of the following services:
- Systems - System OS RHE, Windows OS
- Storage 3PAR
- VMware Virtualization
- Network F5, NAC, Cisco IOS
- Cyber Security Products – Firewalls, CyberArk, SIEM (No hands-on needed but can leverage past working experience)
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team of 15 engineers in Day2 projects.
- Ability to identify, negotiate on commercial opportunities and possess an eye for detail.
- Good understanding of AWS, Azure cloud technologies.
- Proven strong people management, P/L management, and good presentation and communication skills.
