Our client, a renowned Japanese ramen chain, is seeking a Ramen Chef responsible for making ramen from scratch.

Reporting to: Head Chef
Work in two rotating shifts (e.g., 9:00–18:00 and 11:30 – Last shift).

Responsibilities

1. Receive training at existing stores until May, and then work as a member of the opening team for the new store scheduled to open in May.
2. Prepare ramen from scratch, ensuring high quality and consistency.
3. Handle pork in cooking.
4. Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and outlet.
5. Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure the quality of each ramen bowl and dish served.
6. Monitor and manage the quality and quantity of food and ingredients supplied to the outlet.
7. Consistently provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest services, including upselling, while supporting colleagues.

Requirements & Preferences
(Must)

1. At least 1 year of chef experience with the ability to cook basic meals and perform tasks such as knife skills.
2. Willing to make ramen from scratch.
3. Ability to start work on short notice!
4. Willingness to work 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.

(Advantageous)
- A passion for ramen is highly preferred!
