The IT Audit Manager will lead and manage IT audits.

This role will involve overseeing audits related to information technology systems, infrastructure, applications, and overall security measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT auditing, a deep understanding of IT systems and applications, and ideally possess a CISA certification.

Client Details

Our client is a Technology/IT company at the forefront of digital transformation and smart city initiatives in Saudi Arabia. This role will be based in the HQ, which is in Riyadh.

The IT Audit Manager will be responsible for:

1. Leading and executing comprehensive IT audits for the organisation, covering IT infrastructure, applications, security, governance, and data management.
2. Managing and coordinating audit teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit assignments.
3. Evaluating IT systems and applications for efficiency, effectiveness, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Identifying and assessing potential risks, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in IT processes, systems, and controls.
5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations and action plans for addressing audit findings and improving IT governance.
6. Developing and maintaining audit plans, schedules, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
7. Staying up-to-date with emerging IT risks, technologies, and audit methodologies, ensuring audits are aligned with best practices.
8. Reviewing and analysing IT policies, procedures, and frameworks, providing insights into compliance with local, international, and industry standards.
9. Presenting audit results and findings to senior management and providing guidance on mitigating identified risks.
10. Participating in the IT Audit department's budgeting cycle and providing input on the budgeting process.
11. Ensuring effective utilisation of the IT Audit department's budget and reporting accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.

The IT Audit Manager will be/have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
3. 6+ years of experience in IT audit, including auditing IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and security.
4. Expertise in IT auditing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Experience with auditing a variety of IT platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
6. Knowledge of IT risk management, information security principles, and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, etc.).
7. Ability to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes in an IT environment.
8. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and local data protection laws.
9. Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.
11. Experience in auditing large-scale IT infrastructures and enterprise-level applications.
12. Familiarity with risk assessment tools and audit software.
13. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
14. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
15. Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh.
16. A Saudi national.

The salary for the IT Audit Manager will be between SAR 30,000-35,000 depending on level/depth of experience.
