To ensure the smooth operation, security, and availability of the organization's IT infrastructure by managing and maintaining end-user systems and cloud services. This role is responsible for implementing security policies, proactively mitigating risks, and responding to security incidents, all while ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards. The specialist provides technical support to users, enforces access control measures, and monitors IT systems to detect and address potential threats, ensuring a secure and efficient operating environment. Additionally, they play a key role in promoting IT and Security awareness across the organization.

Desired candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, Microsoft 365 Certified, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Cisco CCNA, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent are highly desirable.
1+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or cybersecurity roles.
Hands-on experience with IT monitoring and logging solutions.
IT Infrastructure Management:
Monitor IT Systems: Continuously monitor the health and performance of the company’s IT systems, including servers, databases, networks, and cloud-based services. This involves using tools to track performance metrics and identifying any issues that may arise.
Maintain Network and Server Health: Ensure the proper functioning of networks, servers, and other critical IT infrastructure components by conducting regular maintenance, updates, and patches.
Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans to ensure that data can be recovered and systems can be restored in the event of an outage or disaster.
Data Backup and Security: Oversee data backup procedures and ensure that they are carried out regularly. Ensure that the organization’s data is secure and protected against loss, corruption, and unauthorized access.
Operational Support and Troubleshooting:
Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of support for IT issues, working to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems. This could include everything from addressing user issues to diagnosing network slowdowns.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring or complex IT issues, analyze root causes, and implement long-term solutions to improve the stability and efficiency of IT operations.
Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., help desk, network, and security teams) to resolve issues and ensure smooth IT operations across all systems.
