Job Description

The Senior Technology Architect will be responsible for developing digital reference architecture, solution architecture, technology standards, and reusable architecture patterns. The role partners with IT and business stakeholders across the value chain to create measurable business value. The Senior Technology Architect will create, maintain, and continuously update the enterprise blueprint for design and architecture, and lead the execution and implementation of digital platforms.

This role requires strong competencies in understanding business objectives, outcomes, value streams, capabilities, and processes and mapping them into an integrated portfolio of digital solutions. The Senior Technology Architect ensures architectural decisions are aligned with business strategies and support scalable and sustainable solutions.

The Senior Technology Architect will also provide guidance on best practices, modern architectural approaches, emerging digital technologies, and evolving industry trends. The role collaborates with stakeholders to define future state architecture while maintaining oversight of current platforms, technologies, and architectural standards.

Your role

• Develop digital reference architectures, solution architectures, standards, and patterns that guide enterprise-wide digital transformation.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into scalable and integrated architectural designs.
• Lead digital platform execution across multiple domains such as AI/ML/GenAI, data platforms, integration, and cloud.
• Conduct architecture governance reviews and ensure alignment of project solutions with enterprise architecture direction.
• Develop architecture artefacts including blueprints, conceptual designs, solution designs, integration architectures, and security considerations.
• Evaluate new technologies, platforms, and solutions through POCs and technical assessments.
• Define architecture roadmaps, future-state architectures, and modernization strategies.
• Lead major transformation programs, ensuring alignment with architecture frameworks, standards, and design best practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to delivery teams, project squads, and cross-functional groups during solution implementation.
• Communicate architectural proposals and decisions to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and act as a coach for modern digital engineering and architecture practices
  
  

Required

• 15+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, solution design, application development, cloud platforms, middleware, integration, and data technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with digital technologies including AI/ML/GenAI, IoT, blockchain, data analytics, cloud computing, enterprise integration, and database technologies (relational and time-series).
• Proven experience designing solutions for cloud-native enterprise applications across AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of architectural modes including microservices, headless architectures, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of data domain concepts such as Data Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Virtualization, Data Governance, Privacy, and Marketplace.
• Experience in AI/ML/GenAI implementation including fine-tuning, RAG, RAFT, agentic workflows, knowledge graphs, and frameworks like LangChain, Crew.ai, and LangGraph.
• Ability to define architecture runways and provide day-to-day technical leadership to delivery teams.
• Experience with architecture frameworks, review boards, governance processes, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of regulations, compliance, and enterprise security considerations.
  
  

Preferred

• TOGAF, Open Group Open Certified Architect (Open CA), or similar architecture certifications.
• Certifications in DAMA, DCAM, IBM Data Science, Vertex.ai, or other AI/ML/GenAI specializations.
• Implementation experience with platforms such as Cloudera, Denodo, Informatica MDM, Informatica AXON, or data marketplaces.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate new digital technologies and lead POCs.
• Experience building global digital platforms and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong product mindset and entrepreneurial approach to solution design.
