Warehouse Manager

This warehouse manager role involves managing a team of 10 in a friendly, collaborative environment (not high pressure). We need a warehouse manager to improve stock accuracy, planning, pick accuracy, health & safety, and systems/processes (but nothing is broken).

Working hours are Monday to Friday with flexibility on hours, maybe 6:00 to 14:30 or 07:00 to 15:30. Salary is TBC, expected to be in the £40,000 - £45,000 region, but please rule out if you are seeking over £50,000.

This role is with a business that has a 50,000 to 60,000 square feet facility. The warehouse is well-structured, organized, clean, and tidy. The team of 10 is excellent. We need a Warehouse Manager who takes pride in their work, the tidiness of the warehouse, systems, processes, health & safety, and their team. Good IT skills are required, along with an interest in improving systems.

• Nothing broken here – we need someone who can help with planning and continue the success of the business.
• The team (approximately 10) are good. You will have 2 direct reports – warehouse team leaders.
• The business has good IT systems and a good WMS. You will need to be proficient with WMS/planning software and have decent IT skills.

What we are looking for in this warehouse manager role:

• A warehouse manager or warehouse supervisor in the Daventry, Rugby, Crick, Southam, Northampton, Towcester, Lutterworth region (commutable to Daventry).
• A warehouse manager who takes pride in their warehouse, ensuring it is organized, tidy, safe, and clean.
• This is NOT a high-pressure environment.
• The team is friendly and easy to manage. We do NOT want someone who is a sergeant major – we seek an organized, friendly, and sensible leader.
