Job description

Gap Personnel are recruiting for a new Warehouse Manager in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent. Our client is a giftware manufacturer and distributor selling to a wide variety of shops in the UK and USA. As the company's Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for warehouse operations, importing and exporting stock together with screen printing and candle decoration. You must be able to work well on your own, but also be able to manage a team.

Duties of this role include:

  • Monitor stock levels and forecast stock requirements
  • Raise purchase orders with suppliers
  • Organising international shipments
  • Pack large orders when required
  • Operate all logistics systems to book & track deliveries
  • Plan most cost-effective methods of shipping orders UK & Export
  • Plan order capacity throughout the year
  • Arrange packaging production e.g. cardboard boxes
  • Assist with manufacturing when required
  • Operating FLT (training provided)

Job Term: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: £27,000-£35,000

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Excellent IT skills - Office 365, WMS Systems
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Be able to communicate effectively and manage a team
  • Driving License
  • Forklift License or happy to be trained
