Warehouse Manager

Salary: £53,000
Location: Corby
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the operation.

Your tasks

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing operations by managing the daily activities to ensure efficiency within the warehouse.
• Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve productivity and achieve company goals.
• Managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets to optimise operations (including temp labour).
• Leading and mentoring the operations team by fostering a productive and positive work environment.
• Creating and monitoring a culture of health and safety and security at all times.
• Overseeing training plans within the warehouse.
• Implementing new business within the warehouse.
• Being responsible for the utilisation and maintenance of MHE and other equipment.

Your profile

We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills who has experience in managing large teams and has worked at a senior level within the business.

• Someone who will inspire and motivate their teams to achieve the company goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation, ensuring everyone is aligned with the company goals.
• The ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
• To be able to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Proficient in WMS, SAP, or similar systems.
