Class 2 Driver (ADHOC)
Location: Irlam, M44 6BA
Shifts: 7am start
Pay Rate: £13.11 per hour

1. Operating commercial vehicles up to and including 26 tonnes, including rigid trucks and trailer wagons
2. Driving long or short distances
3. Multi-drop between 15 to 25 drops per day
4. Maintain good customer service and direct client communication
5. Supervising or helping unload goods
6. Lifting and carrying heavy goods, loading and unloading
7. Making sure loads are safely secured
8. Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
9. Completing delivery paperwork or electronic app
10. Comply with Driver Hour Tacho and road regulations
11. Drive in an efficient and economical manner
12. Carrying out daily vehicle checks (start and end of shift)
13. Reporting and correctly documenting any accident or incident
14. If necessary, spending nights away from home during long haul deliveries
15. Complete and keep up to date with FORS eLearning Modules

1. A valid Class 2 (C) License and Driver CPC card
2. A valid Digital Tachograph card
3. Ability to lift and carry heavy goods
4. Up-to-date knowledge of FORS and commitment to completing eLearning modules
5. Experience of working within a transport (warehouse and distribution) environment
6. Working knowledge of distribution environment and driver's hour regulations
