Are you passionate about sustainability and delivering innovative engineering solutions? Join Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, and make a real impact on the water industry.
We are excited to continue our growth journey in Northern Ireland and we have exciting plans for expansion in 2025 and beyond.
This exciting pipeline of work, coupled with the scale of opportunity across the AMP8 cycle in the UK means that we are seeking a Design Manager / Design Lead with experience in the water industry to join us in Belfast. You will play a fundamental role within projects to identify innovative and sustainable solutions, plan technical delivery and lead the multidisciplinary team from concept stage through to final implementation. You will work alongside the Project Manager to deliver best value and client service excellence.
You will be a degree qualified (or equivalent) engineer and will ideally be chartered, or a member of a relevant engineering institution. Support can be given to achieve this if required. You will have a background in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering.
You will have previous design experience in the water sector, ideally with a consultancy. You will have experience with waste water projects. You will have a passion for solving engineering problems, the ability to lead and inspire and the confidence to drive through challenging solutions.
We have opportunities for differing levels of seniority, so if you are looking to kick start your leadership career, we'll support you on your journey.
