Higher level assistants are required at Overstone Independent School in Northampton on a permanent basis to start in September 2024.
To provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of (SEND) children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential or access the curriculum.
The position will include visiting disengaged pupils at home to deliver tuition whilst parents are present.
To work with a range of pupils, but give priority to those who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages including:
