About the Role

Our client has a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive role, this is your chance to join our well-established and growing law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional with experience in wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning who is keen to contribute to the firm’s expansion and success.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Managing a varied caseload and advising clients on private client matters, including wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
2. Drafting legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds
3. Overseeing the administration of estates and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
4. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service
5. Keeping up to date with changes in legislation affecting private client matters
6. Collaborating with financial advisers, accountants, and other professionals to provide comprehensive client advice
7. Supporting the firm’s business development and marketing efforts for private client services

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert legal advice across a range of private client services
2. Ensure accuracy in legal documentation and compliance with regulations
3. Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
4. Demonstrate empathy and understanding when handling sensitive client matters

Qualifications

1. Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 12 months PQE
2. STEP Qualified or working towards qualification
3. Strong technical knowledge of private client services
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
5. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases effectively
