Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Blaydon on Tyne is seeking an experienced Alarm Engineer to join their busy team in the North East. The role involves installing and repairing fire and intruder alarm systems while ensuring compliance with current British Standards. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with a full UK driving licence. - Proven experience with Fire, Intruder, or combined alarm systems.
- Ability to work independently on installations and repairs.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Install new fire and/or intruder alarm systems.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing systems.
- Conduct site surveys and system design for new installations.
- Test and ensure compliance with British Standards.
- Complete site documentation and handover reports.
- Liaise directly with clients.
