We are delighted to be working on behalf of one of the South West’s destination employers to appoint a Tax Accountant into their Group Finance team. Their continued growth and expansion creates additional challenges for its Finance team, as the more territories they operate in, the more complex their financial arrangements become. To support the ongoing growth of the business we are therefore seeking a recently qualified Tax Accountant (either ACA or CTA) to strengthen the tax affairs of the Group.
Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, we are seeking a newly qualified tax accountant with experience in either a Big6 accounting firm with an international client portfolio or potentially an individual already in industry with an international setting. Specific responsibilities include:

We are looking for you to be a qualified accountant and/or tax accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) with post qualification experience in industry or practice (Big Four or leading Mid-Tier environment). You will be a technically strong tax professional with in depth experience of Corporation Tax and tax accounting together with a broad general awareness of all other taxes. Whilst some level of VAT experience would be advantageous, it is not essential for the role. Exposure to international tax jurisdictions would be a huge benefit.

Given the international landscape, coupled with strong M&A agenda, this role will only grow taller over the course of time. Located in the South West, we would be looking for you to be on-site in the office 3 days per week with the role being commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon locations.
