An established industry player is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join their personal tax department. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of personal clients, overseeing a dedicated team, and ensuring effective communication with clients. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in an accountancy practice and hold an ATT qualification, with a CTA qualification being a plus. Job description
We are looking for an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join the personal tax department in Harpenden and manage a client portfolio.
- Management of a varied portfolio of personal clients.
- Overseeing and managing a team including tax senior and trainee tax/accounts assistant.
- Regular client communication and holding client meetings.
- Preparing personal tax returns including computations and reconciliations.
- Preparing or reviewing sole trader and partnership accounts, including computations.
- Preparing partnership returns including computations and reconciliations.
- Preparing trust returns and computations.
ATT qualified as a minimum, CTA qualified desirable. Minimum of five years’ experience in an accountancy practice. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client and team relationships.
