About you:

Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, the role's primary focus will be supporting with the management of the Access Group's tax compliance and reporting requirements across the Access Group. The role will also be instrumental in various group level tax matters including transfer pricing, Pillar 2 and tax governance. Access is a highly acquisitive group and there will be extensive opportunities to get involved in tax advisory and M&A related work.

Day-to-day, you will play a key supporting role with:

  1. The delivery of tax accounting and tax reporting, including the year-end income tax provisions and the group tax consolidation reporting process.
  2. Working with a variety of tax agents and other key stakeholders to manage the preparation and filing of the Group's corporation tax returns across EMEA.
  3. The preparation of the RDEC claims in the UK.
  4. Ensure other ad hoc tax compliance requirements are met.
  5. The Group's transfer pricing strategy, including reviewing the position of new acquisitions, updating transfer pricing processes and ensuring the correct documentation is in place.
  6. Working with colleagues from M&A and tax advisors to ensure any tax risks associated with new acquisitions are effectively managed.
  7. The Group's tax planning and restructuring work.
  8. Any tax related matters from the business, including indirect taxes and employment tax matters.
  9. The Group's tax governance requirements including tax strategy and SAO.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

Access is looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and passionate with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will positively demonstrate the following attributes:
  1. Qualified tax professional with at least three years of relevant experience.
  2. Self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  3. You will have a proactive approach, inquisitive by nature and with a strong eye for detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders.
  5. Desire to improve processes and systems.
