About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and creative Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our dynamic and growing EMEA team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the postholder will play an important role in developing and executing the marketing strategy, managing internal and external communications, as well as supporting branding efforts across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a marketing and communications professional at the early stages of their career to develop a broad skill set within a professional environment at our regional headquarters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in developing and executing Jiahua’s internal and external communications plan and projects to protect and enhance Jiahua’s reputation and keeping target audiences informed and engaged.
• Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and event invitations.
• Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading content for communication materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Oversee and manage Jiahua’s various communications channels, owning and curating content that is consistent with Jiahua’s tone of voice, messaging and branding.
• Assist in planning and executing the marketing and communications strategy. Coordinate with internal teams or external agencies to ensure campaign deadlines are met.
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external marketing and communications events, trade shows, webinars, promotional materials and community outreach programs.
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Support the team with other tasks as needed to achieve departmental goals (e.g. general administrative tasks, such as managing schedules, preparing reports, and organizing meetings).
• Maintain an organized database of marketing and communication materials and assets.

Candidate requirements:

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field or relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms such as content management systems, graphic design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media and scheduling systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
