Job Summary
The post holder will be a part of the Middle Grade Paediatric team, taking part in the on-call and out of hours rota as part of a full shift system that is fully EWTD-compliant. There will be a period of Induction and training to support International Medical Graduates (IMGs) during which time the out of hour duties will be supported, with a bespoke programme provided in the department with a dedicated educational supervisor, in addition to access to Trust wide training opportunities dedicated to a wider group of IMGs.
During this post the successful applicant will gain a range of experience in the General Paediatrics Ward, Paediatric A&E, the Paediatric Day Case Unit and neonatology. It is anticipated the postholder will continue to develop their skills and experience in all aspects of General Paediatrics and Neonatology throughout the duration of the post.

The principal duty of this post is to provide a comprehensive clinical service to patients.
