Senior PCB Design Engineer
Based: High Wycombe / Hybrid
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £45000 - £60000 pa + excellent benefits
We're looking for an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to join our hardware team, delivering class-leading products across our Focusrite, Novation and Focusrite Pro brands.
You're passionate about designing and bringing products to market, solving difficult technical challenges, and sharing your knowledge and experience with others. You have a proven track record of delivering PCB designs and have demonstrated your skills across several successful projects. You're a great communicator, able to integrate and contribute quickly with a multidisciplinary delivery team. You're always looking to expand your skillset, learn new tools and improve the way we work.
The successful candidate will have a background in audio tech, consumer electronics, scientific instrumentation or similar, with knowledge of Zuken Cadstar or Altium Designer.
You'll work closely with a team of Electronic Engineers who have considerable layout experience but are not specialists - that will be you. In addition to designing PCBs, you'll ensure that we're making the best use of our tools and will own our layout process and practices. Depending on your experience and your aspirations, there'll be opportunities to develop this role to include schematic design or focus on process improvement. You can initially expect to:
