The Job You’ll Do;
- To be an operational member of the design team to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.
- Concept system design includes circuits, pumps, tooling and fabrication.
- Produce engineering calculations to ensure specifications are met, including power consumption calculations.
- Produce drawings and bill of materials for each design using AutoCAD.
- Produce detail drawings and general arrangement drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Component specification and verification in accordance with the operating environment.
- Complete engineering and project documentation to ensure continued compliance with ISO standards and CE marking directives.
- Lead on design reviews to communicate system design to the full project team.
- Customer-specific quality documentation.
- Liaising with the Quality department to ensure documentation is completed for a system within a timely manner.
- Updating engineering drawings to ensure built data is captured.
- Support the continuous improvement program and embrace as part of standard work.
- Liaise and negotiate with customers to ensure system requirements are met.
- Assist manufacturing with commissioning both on and off site.
- Be able to produce risk assessments for pressure-containing equipment and machinery.
- Be prepared to travel as appropriate to support project requirements globally.
- Develop and keep engineering planning updated.
About You;
- Must have an appropriate engineering-related degree.
- Experience in a relevant role within engineering/manufacturing.
- Excellent technical skills (especially CAD)
