From NITSNETS we develop the Omnichannel E-commerce area, both E-commerce and in-store technology.

The position of backend in PHP Laravel will allow you to work in the CORE of the E-commerce services providing your knowledge to make decisions from the first day.

You will participate in the whole software development lifecycle creating new functionalities, debugging and configuring the existing ones.

Innovative technology stack with Vue, Nuxt, Node.js, Elastic Search, PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL...

You will integrate the best market tools in the world of International E-commerce for Marketing Automation, Artificial Intelligence for E-commerce, Product Information Management (PIM), Point of Sale (POS)...

You will work in a NITSNETS squad with more than 10 professionals specialized in Software Architecture, User Experience (UX), HTML / CSS Layout, Front-end development and Back-end development. Each developer is in charge of an important part and from which you will be able to learn by dedicating yourself to your specialty. You will collaborate with Sprinter professionals to achieve the best results.

On boarding...

IN 1 MONTH

You will begin to soak up the NITSNETS culture and its processes. You will meet the whole team and learn the project and technical architecture to be able to work.

You will be assigned a Senior Developer who will be your Jedi for on-boarding and reference dev.

As we are more about doing than talking, you will start making your first contributions in simple tasks. You will have enough time to start internalizing the whole project.

IN 3 MONTHS

You will have a complete picture of the whole project and its aspects. You may have been involved in a wide variety of tasks.

You will have acquired know-how of the project and the future of E-commerce.

You will begin to provide solutions in line with the quality of the project. You will continue to be mentored by the team.

IN 6 MONTHS

You will be fully integrated into NITSNETS and the project will have few secrets from you.

You will be contributing large scale solutions to any problem, being able to do your bit with your talent.

You will have developed your first big project within the ecosystem.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Research, develop and improve E-commerce solutions according to the project needs.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle and debug applications.
• Search for new ideas and technologies in terms of R&D that will help to exceed customer expectations.
• Write clean and testable code, using PHP programming languages.
• Review and refactor code.
• Document development and procedures.

Where will you work?

We are currently 100% remotely located.

Teams hold meetings and share knowledge at our offices in Alicante.

Schedule

This position requires dedication from Monday to Thursday from 8h to 14h and from 15h to 17:15h to have Friday afternoons free! finishing at 15h.

In addition to flexible working hours in July and intensive working hours in August.

What are we looking for?

At NITSNETS we are looking for positive and passionate Senior Backend developers with PHP experience to join some of our most important projects.

• 5 years experience in web development in PHP and PostgreSQL (or MySQL).
• Advanced knowledge with at least 1 year of experience in Laravel framework.
• Algorithmic knowledge and ability to determine the computational cost of the algorithm.
• Knowledge about good development practices and code quality.
• Demonstrable experience in development projects using API-REST.
• Experience working with Composer.
• Advanced SQL and GIT knowledge.
• English technical level.
• Minimum studies of Superior or Technical Engineering in Computer Science, Degree in Multimedia Engineering or Degree in Computer Engineering.

• Experience working on E-commerce projects.
• Experience working with other non-PHP package managers: npm, yarn, pip, etc.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience in RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with Redis.
• Experience in other programming languages. Especially Node and .NET Core.
• Knowledge of Vue / NuxtJS, React / NextJS or AngularJS.
• Knowledge of devops: knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Experience working with continuous integration systems (Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.).
• Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Spoken English (C1 or C2 level).
