Warehouse Worker (Inventory) – Day Shift

Are you looking for Warehouse – Inventory Management work in Airdrie? Do you have Warehouse or General Labour experience? We’re hiring Warehouse Worker / General Labourers for a leading authorized overhaul, repair, and maintenance service provider in Calgary! Successful candidates will enjoy physical work and a passion for Inventory Management throughout the day. This position has an immediate start and offers a great opportunity to work in a big company. We’re looking for motivated individuals who will be responsible for a variety of warehousing tasks. You’ll be working with one of Calgary’s largest centers serving clients and customers coast to coast and every postal code in the country and several international locations.

• This is a temporary assignment and is expected to run at least 2 months. (Please note the assignment may go longer depending on the activity in the warehouse!)
• Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

The Warehousing Associate will timely and safely complete responsibilities:

• Previous experience with Inventory Management is an asset
• Continuously assess optimal inventory levels and maintain appropriate levels of inventory
• Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory.
• Assist in updating dimensions and weights for all materials in the database.
• Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team as well as independently
• Basic PC knowledge
• Perform different job functions within the organization's warehouse department
• Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior
• Always maintain a clean and organized work area
• Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager
• CSA approved steel-toed boots/shoes
• High Visibility Safety Vests

Salary: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
