We are actively searching for a Production Worker to join our Truro Ingredient Plant located at 1024 Salmon River Road, Salmon River, Nova Scotia.

What the PRODUCTION WORKER role is about:

This role will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring production equipment, meeting and exceeding productivity goals and quality standards.

• Monitor and operate food manufacturing equipment, including packaging equipment, filling equipment, weighing machine, and detectors.
• Complete all necessary forms and record transactions in our systems (MES/ERP/WMS) while on shift, including weight check forms.
• Complete all required sanitation tasks and any assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Print product labels and scan them into the central inventory system.

What you need to join our team as a PRODUCTION WORKER:

• Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year of experience in a food production environment would be considered an asset.
• Ability to manually lift up to 25 kg regularly.
• Working knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP, and GMPs.
• Flexibility in schedule. Must be available to work the following shifts: Days / Afternoons / Nights / Weekends.
• Hours are based on production need.
