Hybrid Procurement Specialist: Strategic Negotiator
Job summary
A global leader in electrification is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Milton, Canada. This hybrid role involves purchasing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Ideal candidates have a diploma or degree, at least 5 years of procurement experience, negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and interpret technical specifications.
- Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal) is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and frame agreements to secure optimal pricing and terms.
- Prepare and issue RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for procurement needs.
- Evaluate bids and proposals to select vendors based on value, quality, and delivery.
