We are seeking a creative and independent Product Engineer to join NVIDIA's innovative transceivers product team. As a leader in the market, our mission is to advance speed and bandwidth across generations, establishing NVIDIA as the trusted provider of End-to-End High-Speed Ethernet and InfiniBand Solutions. As a Product Engineer in our Networking business, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and ensuring product quality. Embedded within our interconnect team, you will apply multi-disciplinary expertise to address cutting-edge networking challenges in NVIDIA’s transceiver products.

We are a data-driven team, dedicated to identifying and resolving issues by analyzing NETWORK results, conducting engineering experiments, and performing lab debugging. In our dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you'll be doing:

1. Analyze networking failures and cross-correlate multi-test data to identify root causes.
2. Design and complete engineering experiments to reproduce, screen, and resolve product issues.
3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Application Engineers, Solution Architects, Firmware Developers) to address complex challenges.
4. Innovate solutions that enhance product quality and performance.
5. Deliver timely and accurate reports on findings and solutions in a high-pressure environment.
6. Provide feedback based on Test House data to optimize product screening processes.

What we need to see:

1. B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Material Engineering/Chemistry Engineering or equivalent experience
2. At least 6+ years of relevant experience in Test or Network debugging – layer 1
3. Strong problem solving and prioritization ability
4. Strong statistics and data analysis background (JMP)
5. Good software skills, especially in scripting languages (Python)
6. Work under stress capabilities
7. Multi-tasking capabilities
8. Ability to work early hours with business partner

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

1. Experience with optical networking
2. Physical layer 1 networking verification

The base salary range is 127,500 CAD - 273,000 CAD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
