Descripción de la vacante
A leading Canadian university in Kelowna is seeking a Lecturer for a 3-year term in Social Work. The role emphasizes teaching with expectations to educate graduate students, engage in clinical practice, and contribute to the School's committees. Candidates must hold a Master’s of Social Work and demonstrate a strong clinical background as well as teaching experience. The successful applicant will start on July 1, 2026, and apply by March 15, 2026.
Formación
- Must hold a Master's of Social Work degree and be eligible for registration with BC College of Social Workers upon hire.
- Demonstrate a strong record of clinical social work practice.
- Have university-level teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
Responsabilidades
- Teach seven courses over a 12-month period, with at least one course in the summer term.
- Participate in the School of Social Work committee.
- Engage fully in departmental affairs and service obligations.
