The Recruiter is responsible for assisting with the full recruitment cycle for security guards. It will be a requirement that they participate in a high‐volume recruitment process. The Recruiter will be responsible for the administration of a multi‐phase recruitment process which includes the attraction, sourcing, screening, testing, and interviewing of candidates whilst maintaining accurate records and pipelines in the applicant tracking system.

The position pays $23 an hour - Temporary Full Time Position.

You are required to work in person in our Calgary SW office.

What does a Recruiter in Calgary do?

1. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
2. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of hiring and selection materials.
3. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with Account Managers and Supervisors.
4. Managing and maintaining an accurate pipeline of candidates using an applicant tracking system (SAP SuccessFactors) to support staffing requirements and ensure quality and compliance.
5. Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, and community partnerships.
6. Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.

Qualifications to become a Recruiter in Calgary

1. Be eligible to work in Canada.
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a recruitment role (preferably high-volume recruitment).
3. Diploma/Degree in a related field such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
4. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Experience with an applicant tracking system(s).
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
