Our Vaccines business unit is highly dedicated to collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase disease and immunization awareness in the community.
A Key Account Manager (“KAM”), Vaccines Public Health is a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to key customer accounts. The Key Account Manager is responsible for partnering with key accounts (such as public health units, school boards, associations etc.) to enhance the public program vaccination rates in alignment with our Company’s Public Policy Objectives.
The KAM reports to our Associate Director, Marketing Vaccines and works closely with colleagues from other functions: Marketing, Access, Policy, Legal & Compliance and more.
Region: Eastern Ontario (Toronto to Ottawa)
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate Partnership: Build strong partnership and long-term engagement with key accounts, by the co-creation of business solutions.
- Market/Customer Insights: Identify unmet and/or evolving customer needs through in-depth market and thorough understanding of the key account needs and goals.
- Strategic Business Planning: Develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the key account.
- Performance monitoring: Monitor customer account plans through clear measures of success, and track projects based on metrics and Key Performance Indicators to deliver on our Company’s and key account’s goals.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate and partner with internal teams to maximize opportunities within key accounts, whilst ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Innovate: Identify new and innovative solutions to address customer needs and challenges as well as creative ways to deliver value to customers.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and business insights to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
- Progressive Strategy Optimization: Incorporate learnings and refine account strategies based on learning and feedback to better meet community and enhance immunization awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Sales/Marketing) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Key Account Management/Sales/Supplier Management.
- Knowledge and prior experience with vaccines, infectious disease, and/or local immunization considered an asset, ideally within public health.
- Language: English (bilingualism in English & French an asset).
