Job Summary

What is the opportunity?

Design Wealth Management Technology architecture (Solution Architecture). Partner with IT, Operations and business stakeholders to lead development of the end-to-end technical solution architecture for architecturally significant IT initiatives that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. What will you do?

• You will design Solution Architecture in large or complex programs, including system and application designs, integration, data architecture, software, and technical architecture, in accordance with strategies and objectives.
• Assess and analyze current state environment and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business sponsor needs, program timeline, budget, and quality.
• Play the role of the lead technical authority and be responsible for planning all activities leading to the development of the overall solution architecture.
• Work with SMEs to ensure that all aspects of the solution architecture are defined and elaborated.
• Present program solution architecture at the Internal Architecture Reviews and/or WM and Enterprise Architecture Review boards.
• Work with Data Stewards and Data Owners and assist in the development of the Data Strategy.
• Be accountable for the data strategy implementation and data architectural direction on the assigned projects.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 8+ years of Solution Architecture experience with advanced knowledge of application design and development, resilient systems design and integration, security, and in-memory technologies.
• Solid experience with a variety of technologies/frameworks, micro-services, REST APIs, Streaming, and Data Lakehouse.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level security concepts and methodologies, including SSO, SSL, SAML, OAuth 2.0 framework, gateways, encryption, authentication, and entitlements.
• Ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions and execute within an intense technology environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, consultative, and team communication/facilitative skills with solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Technology stack: Kafka, Java, JEE, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Snowflake.

Nice-to-have

• Data Architecture experience with solid understanding of distributed databases, database tuning, and data modeling.
• Wealth Management experience.
• Broadridge Model.
• SingleStore (MemSQL).
• ETL DataStage.
