Our client is a young, dynamic player within the Internet / Web Technology industry, working with Fortune 500 clients to solve their development needs mainly in AquaLogic, Oracle COREid and Ruby on Rails. Growing rapidly, this innovative company is looking to hire one Web Technical Consultant to work in a permanent capacity (they will not consider contractors and therefore they will provide salary, bonus and full benefit package).

You will be responsible for gathering requirements, providing solutions and developing the desired application on one of two platforms MS SharePoint or WebCenter Interaction (WCI) formerly BEA Aqualogic (ALUI)/Plumtree using web technologies (ASP.NET, JAVA, C#).

Travel:

As a Level I technical consultant, you will be working mostly on-site with clients, and therefore, you can be based anywhere in Canada or the US as long as you live near an airport. Our client's engagements are no shorter than three months. Therefore, you'll be provided with an executive apartment, rental car (if necessary) and a per diem for expenses. You will be flown home every other weekend (or you can fly somewhere else for fun, like Vegas if you're situated in the US Southwest for example).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Canadian or US Citizenship Required (for TN visa eligibility)
  2. 2-5 years experience with BEA Aqualogic (ALUI) or ALBPM
  3. 2-5 years experience in Web Development (ASP.NET/C#) or recent University Computer Science or Engineering graduate with demonstrated homemade applications!
  4. Experience with using one or more of CSS, DHTML, AJAX, JavaScript.
  5. Excellent communication skills: ability to conduct presentations, provide feedback in meetings and present solutions to customers & stakeholders.
  6. Knowledge of RDBMS, tools and concepts such as SQL Server, stored procedures

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  1. User interface / user experience design experience.
  2. Extremely out-going personality and a willingness to learn.
  3. Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  4. Enterprise Integration experience an asset but not required (training provided).

Education:

  1. University degree or equivalent (Computer Science or Engineering background preferred) or
  2. 3 years of relevant experience plus two year college diploma in computers or
  3. 5 years of relevant experience no diploma
