Job summary
A leading maintenance services company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a skilled technician to oversee machinery maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. Responsibilities include performing regular checks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting with mechanical improvements. Ideal candidates should have experience in machine maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety procedures. Qualifications
- Experience in machinery maintenance and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular checks on machinery and complete maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and solve equipment breakdowns.
- Assist in mechanical and electrical improvements.
Perform regular checks on machinery & completion of all maintenance tasks as assigned. Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by supervising & performing planned & preventive maintenance as scheduled. Maintain all records of daily weekly & monthly equipment breakdown for accurate traceability and maintenance.
Fault finding / problem solving of equipment & machine break down. Analyses equipment failures determines cause(s) & makes necessary adjustments or repairs. Efficiently calibrates instruments & assist on machinery/equipment installation.
Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices & procedures & with applicable federal or local codes regulations & requirements. Participate to mechanical and electrical improvements for the plant and conduct safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the same. Follow and maintain GMP ISO QMS HACCP 5S and Work Safety standards. Adhere to cost effective practices as well as continuous improvement and Kaizens.
Assist Engineers and Production Supervisors in determining needs for equipment & scheduling work following the work orders for all internal/external jobs. Ensure signing of the work orders and daily accomplishment report of the technicians. Must meet with the Engineers daily to assess priorities and address/communicate issues. Must ensure timely and proper communication of related issues with Production and Engineering Department.
