The HVAC Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all HVAC installation works on interior fit-out projects, ensuring systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role includes managing site technicians, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

• Supervise HVAC fit-out works including ducting, chilled water piping, DX systems, VRF/VRV, FCUs, AHUs, exhaust and fresh air systems.
• Ensure installations follow approved shop drawings, layouts, and method statements.
• Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee installation of ductwork, insulation, dampers, diffusers, grilles, pipes, valves, supports, and vibration isolators.

• Coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV, and architectural trades to prevent clashes.
• Ensure HVAC activities align with false ceiling works, wall closures, and final finishes.
• Coordinate inspections and site visits with engineers, consultants, and main contractor.

• Ensure HVAC installations meet project specifications and authority standards.
• Identify and rectify installation defects, snags, and punch-list items.
• Support testing, commissioning, air balancing, and system start-up activities.
• Ensure proper labeling, access clearances, and final finishing for handover.

• Enforce HSE requirements and safe working practices on site.
• Ensure technicians use correct PPE and approved lifting/access equipment.
• Identify hazards related to working at height, hot works, and confined spaces.

• Check HVAC materials delivered to site against approved submittals.
• Monitor material usage and reduce wastage.
• Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
• Assist with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.

• ITI / Trade Certificate or Diploma in HVAC / Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC works, with strong exposure to interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and installation standards.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, and schematics.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

• Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or high-end residential fit-outs.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to work in fast-track project environments.
