Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee upstream oil and gas field construction projects, including drilling site infrastructure, well pads, pipelines, and gathering systems. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of hands-on experience managing upstream construction operations, with proven leadership in executing complex greenfield and brownfield projects in remote and challenging environments. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, manage, and execute construction activities for upstream oil & gas projects including well sites, flowlines, gathering stations, and early production facilities (EPFs). • Lead end-to-end proposal development. • Oversee contractors and vendors during site preparation, civil works, mechanical and piping installation, structural fabrication, and commissioning support. • Monitor construction schedules and budgets, and proactively manage deviations or risks. • Implement and enforce HSE protocols, lead toolbox talks, safety audits, and incident investigations. • Serve as the focal point for construction-related matters on site, representing the project team in meetings with clients, authorities, and third parties. • Review construction drawings, identify constructability issues, and propose practical solutions. • Drive productivity improvements and ensure optimal resource utilization. • Ensure proper documentation and reporting, including progress reports, daily logs, and punch lists.
• BA or above degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 15 + years of experience in upstream construction in oil & gas (onshore/offshore). • Candidates with ADNOC project experience or ADNOC approval are preferred. • Strong background in construction of well pads, manifolds, separators, pipelines, and field processing facilities. • Familiar with standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, and local regulatory frameworks. • Proficient in Primavera P6/MS Project, AutoCAD, and field construction software. • PMP, NEBOSH, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
