Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least one year of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in an administrative or similar position.
  • Experience in an administrative or similar position in the Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration support to the ward/unit.
  • Provide patient administration support.
  • Receive patients into the ward/unit.
  • Ensure sufficient and effective control of clinical and non-clinical stock.
  • Promote patient satisfaction.
  • Keep medical insurance information of patients up to date.

Skills

Computer literacy (MS Office package)
Insurance claim procedures
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Medical terminology
Knowledge of patient care support procedures
Understanding of stock control processes and systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)
