To offer support specifically tailored to the multi-brand Facility, encompassing the showroom, service, and spare parts departments. The Branch Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial activities and transactions related to these three activities are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported. The role will be reporting to the Finance Business Partner (FBP). Below are the key responsibilities.

What you will do

1. Perform financial transactions and process invoices in a timely manner.
2. Ensure all relevant AFM document processes are strictly adhered to ensure all bank payments are met.
3. Ensure Revenue/Provision in place and Assignee clause is without error.
4. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
5. Perform record keeping of all financial operations.
6. Manage Intra & Internal Sales including Government Sales.
7. Authorization of all in-house AFM sales & credit customers.
8. Daily invoice summary for credit invoices & sales return cases, monitor all outstanding debts & report.
9. Support & guide Matrix managers, Sales team and Sales Admin.
10. Collect & verify all cash / credit card / cheque payment against invoices and post all collections in the system (SAP).
11. Monitor Petty cash float for ensuring adequate balance and reviewing pending reimbursements/claims for submission.
12. Maintain and balance daily collection & petty cash fund twice daily.
13. Monitor the insurance limits of cash/collection in vault, ensuring the insurance coverage from AOIC if the cash/collection in vault exceeds the limit.
14. Ensure that collected revenue must be deposited in SCDM on the same day.
15. Daily collection reports should be uploaded in the shared drive provided by the FSSC/AFSS.
16. All collection / PCF verification and handover are properly signed / filed for future references.
17. Monitor and communicate cheque clearance, bouncing cheques, and refund cheques.
18. Ensure accurate data entry in SAP - billing cancellation & advance payments should be kept at a minimum level - Cash Invoices not yet collected report should be always cleared & monitored.
19. Ensure sublet and bought-out charges are posted to Job cards for charging the customer.
20. Strict adherence to AFM company policy regarding customer refunds, maintain log for tracking purposes.
21. Perform Surprise Cash Count as per SOP.
22. Finance related processes are conducted in compliance with AFM policies & procedures (SOPs).
23. Support in monitoring Opex & Capex.
24. Monitor & maintain AFM administration document process is adhered to at all times.
25. Monitor clearance of Open POs follow up with COT & Showroom Admin Team every month.
26. To carry out Ad Hoc tasks/reports as required by the FBP/ FM / Branch Management.
27. Review and ensure timely submission of Second sets.
28. Daily / Weekly / Monthly monitoring of branch AR report (all credit facilities provided) and follow-up with concerned channels to ensure timely collection of all outstanding / overdue invoices.
29. Maintain list for all credit facilities provided to branch credit customers including credit limit / credit period / main contact details / credit facility documents if possible.
30. Reconcile credit customer accounts.

1. Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry or similar role.
2. Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
4. ACCA, CA Inter, equivalent qualification.
5. Analytical, advanced Excel, process-oriented, good communication and presentation skills, exposure to ERP.
