Job summary
A food safety compliance company based in Dubai is seeking a qualified professional with a strong background in food science and food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of relevant experience and exceptional leadership and communication skills, with proficiency in Arabic being a must. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and training staff on hygiene practices. An understanding of local authorities and governmental programs in the MENA region is essential.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in food safety or related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Proven experience in upper-management roles, preferably in program management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and internal audits.
- Train staff on food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
- Analyze, evaluate, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.

- Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (industry dependent)
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Full knowledge of the standardization authorities and regulators in the region such as SFDA, NFSA, MOIAT, GOEIC etc...
- Technical knowledge and experience in the governmental programs in UAE, KSA, Egypt and the MENA region
- Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
- Arabic is a MUST
- Previous experience in certification and or inspection field is a plus
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct routine inspections and internal audits
- Maintain food safety documentation and reports
- Train staff on food hygiene and safe food handling practices
- Investigate and close food safety non-conformances
- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the department
- Write Standard Operating Procedure for the workflow and Import process
- Assess program performance and aim to smooth the workflow
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Prepare reports for program directors
