Job Title: Corporate Communications Assistant

Report to: Marketing & Communications Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Communications Assistant to support our internal and external communication efforts. The ideal candidate will be a Media Studies or Journalism graduate with 5–6 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field. This role requires strong writing skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications:
- Assist in the development and dissemination of internal communications, including announcements, intranet content and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across the organisation.
- Support in organising corporate events, town halls and employee engagement activities.
External Communications & Media Relations:
- Draft and edit press releases, articles, speeches and LinkedIn posts in line with corporate branding and messaging.
- Coordinate with media outlets, journalists and PR agencies to maximise media coverage.
- Monitor and compile media coverage reports, tracking industry trends and Mirage’s brand positioning.
Content Development & Brand Management:
- Ensure brand consistency across all corporate communications and marketing materials.
- Assist in content creation for digital platforms, including social media and corporate presentations.
- Support the team in award submissions, maintaining an updated repository of company achievements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Crisis Communications:
- Assist in preparing key messaging for senior leadership for public engagements and corporate updates.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on communications strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations within a corporate setting.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the real estate, architecture, or construction industry is a plus.
