ADNOC Schools is currently seeking high-performing SEN Classroom Assistant for an immediate start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School - Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Western Region).

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the educational and social development of the students under the direction of the Principal/Vice Principal/Class Teacher.
2. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom as directed; to enable them to fully participate in activities.
3. Assist class teachers with maintaining up to date student records.
4. Support students with additional and specific needs such as feeding themselves, using the bathroom (KG).
5. Work with other professionals where necessary.
6. Lead small groups in specific activities as planned by the teacher.
7. Prepare and present displays of student work.
8. Support class teachers with the preparation of resources i.e. photocopying.
9. Undertake other administrative duties on occasion as directed by the Principal.
10. Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality, attendance and conduct.
11. Be proactive in matters relating to Health and Safety.
12. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
13. Undertake professional duties that may be reasonably assigned by the Principal/Vice Principal.

Requirements:

1. Passionate and caring educators.
2. Bachelor's in Education or a bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the related field.
3. A commitment to an extensive enrichment program.
4. Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
5. Respect for all members of your school community.
6. Experience with students for whom English is an additional language.
7. A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
8. A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check.
