The Draughtsman will be involved in working on projects associated with stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks and water distribution networks. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction monitoring.
Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.
Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations.
Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate the completion of tasks and projects.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Internal and external client liaison.
Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships.
Experience in utility diversions and management.
The successful candidate must have relevant technical qualifications and have ten (10) years of experience in drafting related to infrastructure works.
He must be well experienced in the latest version of AutoCAD, MS Office, MicroStation.
DS, IRR, DEWA, Water recycle experience is an advantage.
