This position is required for a company which is currently executing major projects in partitions (Fermacell & Gyproc) & ceilings (Armstrong). The position reports to the Design Manager. The role is to understand the IFS drawings and prepare the Shop drawings for approval of the Consultant/Contractor. It involves understanding the complexity of the design to the minutest level and detailing on the drawings for every component of the fit-out and ability to train junior draftsmen to get the work done on time & with perfection.
Candidates who do not have previous extensive experience in partitions & ceilings - Please do not waste your and our time by applying. The ideal candidate will be an expert in AutoCAD drawings and can work without supervision for preparing the shop drawings and as-built drawings for the partitions & ceilings projects. Since it is a senior position, the person should be capable of training and transferring knowledge to junior CAD operators. The job involves long hours and working under pressure and salary offered will be not less than AED 9000/-.
