Job Title - Head of Operations
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Head of Operations to oversee end-to-end operational functions across real estate development projects. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring project delivery excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning day-to-day operations with business objectives and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and oversee all operational functions across development, construction, and handover phases.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across departments.
- Project & Development Oversight:
- Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of real estate development projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, design, and procurement teams.
- Process Management & Optimization:
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for core operational activities.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics across projects.
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operational alignment.
- Act as a key liaison with contractors, consultants, authorities, and external partners.
- Ensure timely approvals, permits, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial & Resource Management:
- Oversee operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation.
- Review project cash flows, operational expenditures, and efficiency metrics.
- Support senior management in financial planning and operational forecasting.
- Risk & Compliance:
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, safety, and quality standards.
- Support audits, reporting, and governance requirements.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations and project teams.
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in operations management within real estate development or construction.
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential or mixed‑use developments.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
