Job Position:- Site Supervisor (C&S)

Working hours

Mon - Fri (08.30 am to 6.00 pm)

Sat - (08.30 am - 5.30 pm)

Roles & Responsibilities:

General Duties

• Report to and take instructions from the Superintending Officer (SO) Representative on-site.
• Maintain good relationships with residents, ground agency staff, and other supervisory personnel.
• Personally handle resident queries, feedback, and complaints regarding the improvement works.
• Dress professionally with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Assist in timely site inspections and monitor contractor progress.

Site Management & Safety

• Ensure that works are carried out safely and properly in compliance with HDB regulations.
• Enforce safety requirements, cleanliness, and tidiness on-site.
• Monitor contractors' progress against the approved work schedule.
• Verify that approved materials are delivered on time and meet specifications.
• Check that construction methods follow approved guidelines.
• Conduct site surveys to verify buildings that have undergone previous improvement works.
• Assist with handover and final inspections of completed works.

Documentation & Reporting

• Keep proper records of work progress, variations, and reports.
• Verify contractor claims and reports submitted for approval.
• Compile and submit site progress reports as per the SO Rep’s instructions.
• Perform computer data entry, take progress photos, and maintain proper documentation.

Qualification & Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution
• Higher NITEC (ITE Certification) in a relevant technical field with substantial work experience may also be considered
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance and repair work.
• Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
• Must have a track record of being a team player and contributing effectively to project teams.
• Must possess a Class 3 driving license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents.

Skills And Knowledge

• Strong technical knowledge to review design details and method statements.
• Ability to resolve site issues during construction.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Completion of at least one safety course and ability to identify potential safety infringements.
• Ability to manage a team of Site Supervisors (for Senior Resident Engineer, Resident Engineer, and Resident Architect roles).
• Administrative skills to maintain discipline and manage personnel records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team player.
• Diligent, methodical, and meticulous.
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to digitalization efforts in projects.
• Keen learner and supportive of new technologies in the built environment.
